Birthed from the dreams of a slumbering god, the realm of Faelorn
floats in a place that is not a place, in a time that never was;
it is filled with all the wonder and horror that would populate
a mind which has traveled to the extreme edge of existence;
and for those who call it home, Faelorn is a place rife with
wondrous magic, strange creatures and unimaginable adventure.

The Great Dream

Meer-Dun-Sah Dreams
It came to pass that after many eons of visiting the countless worlds in all the universes of existence, MEER-DUN-SAH - the great traveler, grew weary and looked for a suitable place where he might lie down to rest. On a barren plain, far from the eyes of other worlds, he came to a cave which he found to his liking. Upon entering the cave, MEER-DUN-SAH put up his tired feet and placed his head upon the soft earth, where he immediately fell into a fitful slumber.

And thus the dream began…

MEER-DUN-SAH dreamed the dream of music and from his heart – the source of all music – emerged TALIESIN, the first bard. TALIESIN picked up his lyre and began to play. So soothing and so peaceful was his music, that when the time came for MEER-DUN-SAH to awaken, he did not; but rather he continued his fitful sleep.

And thus the dream continued…

As TALIESIN continued to play, MEER-DUN-SAH dreamed of all he had known and all he had seen in his many travels. He dreamed of great green forests, of thundering rivers, bottomless lakes and towering mountains of untold majesty; he dreamed too of creatures great and small, magical and mundane, deceitful and honest. All came to be, sprung from MEER-DUN-SAH’s unbound imagination.

And thus Faelorn was born…

And so MEER-DUN-SAH continues to slumber, his dreams urged on by the tranquil music of TALIESIN. And as the dream of Faelorn endures, stories of heart-breaking tragedy and inspirational heroism continue to unfold. But if a time ever comes when TALIESIN takes up his lyre and ceases to play, MEER-DUN-SAH will awaken and all that Faelorn has been will cease to be – all will be undone and forgotten.
